Marie is 20 years old and risks her life everyday on the Los
Angeles freeways. I had seen pictures of Marie on Instagram and had to meet
her when I visited LA. I asked her to pick a location and Griffith Observatory
was in the neighborhood. I was inspired by the smoggy LA air mixed with the bright
blue skies to get some solo helmet shots. The huge white observatory acted as a
reflector and allowed for the helmet to get a nice gradation of light and color.
The helmet Marie wears in this shoot is Biltwell, I love this helmet its shape, color
and fit are great to photograph. Marie was a joy to photograph.
